Adding a discussion forum to a website has been promoted as a great way enhance it. The traffic to the website can feed the forum, and vice-versa. What's more, the posts people make to the forum become content that googlebot will crawl, and show in search results, increasing your site's traffic still further.

Our local swimming pool charges a "spectator fee". Nothing odd there, many public pools in Perth charge people an entry fee even if they aren't swimming. What I found interesting enough to blog about is that they try to justify their "spectator fee" to the public.
